Today Wan Chai is a bright and buzzing district, a centre for business and entertainment. However, the area was one of Hong Kong's earliest settlements, as a result, it has a wealth of history to share. After witnessing more than a century of changes, Wan Chai is more than just a district of modernity and civilization, but one that is rich with traditions, culture and history, including spooky tales and myths that have been passed down through generations.

As we visit different places in the district, these tales and myths will be revealed, while they help us better understand local religions and beliefs, many also shed light on the transformation that is taking place within the community.
